I must admit i,m a convert as i walk by you guys i think –why! -look and learn!-corperate aust has infiltrated our polital leaders and changed our course in these sour economic times they flourish.westfarmers have tied up the harware industry and now have a major effect on retail decisions and futures, thus retail employees are out of pocket millions of dollers in our dropping wages and worndown entitlements–these are the exploiters times —-so-GOD give them stregnth-go for it-O S.
Yes Paul, it is the end of the world as we know it. All we can do now is appeal to God and Occupy Sydney. No one else can do it.
You really need to get a grip man. “Dropping wages and worn down entitlements”? Really? Where? Not in Australia. The Modern Awards and FWA introduced by this Govt have set in place the benchmarking of entitlements for all employees not just those heavily unionised industries. Under FWA rules it is almost impossible for employees to be sacked. Our welfare provisions as a state are amongst the best in the world. Most countries in the world don’t have state pensions let alone welfare for the sick or disabled. One of the reasons we are losing manufacturing overseas is because of the high cost of employment in Australia. In Aussie dollars minimum wage in US $7.25, in New Zealand $13.50, in UK $9.36, in Holland $10.29 and in Australia $16. Never mind the cheap labour in the 3rd world countries we have over-paid ourselves out of the competition.
